When it says "achievements", that's referring to the GFWL achievements (these are actually Xbox achievements that you add to your Xbox account gamerscore, basically the forerunner for the current Windows 10 games).

The online component doesn't work because it uses the now-defunct Games for Windows Live (GFWL).

My fight stick (Qanba Drone for PS3/PS4) wouldn't work because Steam kept loading-in some community profile that only had the block button mapped, even though I repeatedly told it to use my own config (wtf?), but then again, my stick has been giving me problems with older games in general (but only in the past year and half, for some reason, on my laptop too).

Hmm, thanks for the heads up! Also, just to test it out, I went ahead and re-installed the Arcade Kollection on my current Win10 desktop PC. Except I am afraid to buy it cause I don't think it will work if you tried to activate it in 2020. The best version on PC ever should be the "Mortal Kombat: Arcade Kollection". Like in the Shang throne rooms, you look out the window, you see nothing. Problem is that is the DOS version, which is no where close to the arcade version.
